REMOVAL
1. DISCONNECT FUEL TANK VENT HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Pull up the retainer and disconnect the vent line hose.
NOTICE:
-
Do not use any tools in this procedure.
-
Check for any dirt and foreign matter contamination in the valve and around the connector. Clean if necessary. Foreign matter may damage the O-rings or cause leaks in the seal between the valve and connector.
(b) Remove the bolt.
2. DISCONNECT NO. 1 CHARCOAL CANISTER OUTLET HOSE
(a) Disconnect the No. 1 charcoal canister outlet hose.
3. REMOVE CHARCOAL CANISTER ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the charcoal canister outlet hose.

(b) Disconnect the connector.

(c) Remove the 3 bolts and charcoal canister assembly.

4. REMOVE FUEL TANK VENT HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Push the hose firmly toward the canister side.
(b) Pinch the hose (portion A) as shown in the illustration.
(c) Pull out the hose.
NOTICE:

Do not use any tools in this procedure.

Check for any dirt and foreign matter contamination in the canister and around the hose. Clean if necessary. Foreign matter may damage the O-rings or cause leaks in the seal between the canister and hose.
5. REMOVE CHARCOAL CANISTER BASE BRACKET
(a) Disconnect the No. 2 canister outlet hose sub-assembly.
(1) Push the hose firmly toward the canister side.
(2) Pinch the hose (portion A) as shown in the illustration.
(3) Pull out the hose.
NOTICE:

Do not use any tools in this procedure.

Check for any dirt and foreign matter contamination in the canister and around the hose. Clean if necessary. Foreign matter may damage the O-rings or cause leaks in the seal between the canister and hose.
(b) Remove the charcoal canister filter sub-assembly.
(c) Disconnect the charcoal canister outlet hose from hose clamp.

(d) Remove the hose clamp.

(e) Remove the 2 bolts and charcoal canister base bracket.
|
6. REMOVE CHARCOAL CANISTER SUPPORT BRACKET
(a) Remove the 2 bolts and charcoal canister support bracket.
7. REMOVE NO. 1 CHARCOAL CANISTER OUTLET HOSE
(a) Remove the No. 1 charcoal canister outlet hose.
8. REMOVE CHARCOAL CANISTER OUTLET HOSE
(a) Remove the charcoal canister outlet hose.
